Exclusive mandates at MG IMMO
A commitment from the agency, not just the seller
An exclusive mandate means your property is entrusted to one agency only, for the period set out in the mandate. At MG IMMO, this choice commits the agency too: for every exclusive listing, we commit to the three points set out below.
For buyers, it means dealing directly with the agency that knows the property, the seller and the file.

Frequently asked questions
about exclusive mandates
What is the difference between an exclusive and a standard mandate?
With a standard (non-exclusive) mandate, you can list your property with several agencies and, depending on the terms of the mandate, sell it yourself. With an exclusive mandate, a single agency handles the sale for the agreed period. In return, the agency makes specific commitments on marketing and follow-up: at MG IMMO, those described above.
How long does an exclusive mandate last?
Under French law, every sales mandate is limited in time; its length is set in the mandate you sign. During the first three months, an exclusive mandate cannot be terminated.
How do I end an exclusive mandate?
Once three months have passed since signing, either party may end it at any time by giving the other at least fifteen days' notice by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt (Hoguet Act and its implementing decree).
What changes for a buyer viewing an exclusive listing?
Nothing in terms of price or procedure: you deal directly with the agency that works with the seller, which makes questions about the file (diagnostic reports, co-ownership, timing) easier to handle. All mandatory information, including the energy rating and agency fees, appears on each listing.
